Well here goes for the first blog post. I have been reading for awhile and decided I want to do that. My life evolves around quilting and has for the past 15 years. Doesn't seem like it has been 15 years!! I guess I have come full circle. Made my first quilt by myself, not knowing what I was doing; decided I needed quilt classes and signed up; moved and started a quilt group in my community after teaching others how to quilt; bought a longarm and operated a quilting business; and when that slowed up and children became seniors in high school I needed more money and went back to work full time. I still quilt when ever I can. I have a few people that still bring quilts to me and I stay plenty busy with that. Of course I have many quilts that I have started that have not been quilted yet. I always wanted a spot to share on the web my quilt projects and plans and helpful notes.
